Financial AI
Payment service that makes life easier for citizens, optimizes bill payment, saves time and money
PROJECT
DESCRIPTION
The client approached us to help update the legacy project’s technologies, particularly transitioning it from Ruby on Rails to Flutter. Additionally, part of the development should involve using NodeJS technology and implementing GraphQL.
Simultaneously, the project required building a stable infrastructure based on AWS and implementing a PostgreSQL database.
Project Objectives:
The client’s business objective was to secure US government funding to develop a payment service that simplifies citizens’ lives, optimizes bill payments, and saves time and money. Additionally, it assists people with disabilities and the elderly in delegating bill payments to a service that handles it for them.
Interesting Points:
- It was the first project involving the commercial use of AI tools.
- The client ruled over several crucial decisions, introducing risks beyond our control.
- The planned timeline for the project was six months. Collaboration was productive, and the client extended our partnership for several years.
- The project ended abruptly in 1 day due to a risk that no one could foresee.
- The project started with 3 individuals, but the team grew. A designer has joined the team for a short term but stayed for over a year.
