DESCRIPTION
What was needed was a high-load system based on the client’s worldwide connectivity. This system had to include both the B2C and C2C aspects to enable the selling of different items. In addition, the automation of working processes made it possible to cooperate with 3rd parties courier companies and payment systems.
The project’s objective was to revive platforms and Apps (iOS, Android), add new features, and include an infrastructure rework. The project’s primary goal was to make the international buying process really easy and comfortable.
Project goals
- Set up system infrastructure on AWS and follow modern data security handling practices.
- Develop subsystems using Agile approaches, Node.js and React, relational and NoSQL databases, Android and iOS development technologies, high-load distributed online chat systems, and automated functional and non-functional testing approaches.
- Build the system on the development of data mining processes.
- Design a central product vision, evaluate different concepts, and select the optimal one.
- Implement a new chat with PUSH notifications, payment requests, statuses, and media file uploading.
- Implement integration with the payment service to allow users to make international purchases in several currencies.
- Update the legacy project with new libraries, services, and infrastructure.
